SRI: Dearest Sisters and Brothers, Today, Maasi month, Punarvasu star is the janma nakshathram of Our Dearest KulasEkharAzhwAr. The King, who became so much involved with Bhakti for Emperumaan sang excellent 105 verses of PerumAL Thirumozhi in Thamizh and 40 verses in Sanskrit by name Mukunda MaalA. He was so much attracted To Lord Sri Rama and was greatly involved that he, while listening to RamayaNa upanyasam, once even ordered his troops to help Sri Rama. He has sung 10 pAsuranms in the role of Devaki. They are really emotional anubhavam of our AzhwAr. Devaki says: 1. I am the lowest and unluckiest of all mothers- which mother has such misfortune like me of not having her child with her right from the birth? 2. I am not lucky to see you lying down on the floor, so beautiflully. 3. I have not enjoyed your childhood days. When asked who your father is, oh no! You are showing Nandagopan. He is so lucky to be called you father. And VasudEva is the unluckiest father. 4. I have missed all your childhood pranks. 5. She, yasOdhA was blessed with everything. She got the lovely, sweet kiss from you. 6. I WAS SO UNLUCKY to miss eating the remaining food, which you used to leave on the plate. 7. I lost all your most beautiful glances at me. Even Gopis enjoyed them. 8. YasOdhA got the ultimate happiness in her life by bringing you up. She was so lucky to be subjected so much of mischiefs and pranks by the Emperumaan, KaNNan. 9. Even pUthanai was extremely blessed to be sucked by the kutti Kannan; but not me; I missed the kutti kaNNan's loving fondling of my breast while sucking the milk from the other breast. 10. KaNNA! You got such a loveliest, luckiest mother in yasOdhA! What an anubhavam of KulasEkharAzhwAr. He has also sung pAsurams as if he is DasarathA. AzhwAr , the King, wished to be any object in ThiruvEnkadam be it a bird, a fish, a bush, a mountain, a tree, a person (holding the Golden vattil of the Lord for Him to spit in the morning), OR A STEP IN HIS SANNIDHI, or any other object at TirumalA. Let us all think of Such a Great AzhwAr to day and surrender at his feet. Ram Ram With Best Regards NarayaNa dAsan madhavakkannan ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
