Dear Srikaryaals,
                   I did find it distressing about our Srivaishnava Sampradaya breached at Thiruchanoor.  Even if Durgai/Lakshmi/Saraswathi may be one thayaar, our way of worship is towards a philosophy.  Even our Gayathri prayers we offer to Sriman Narayan in the form of Sayam Saraswathi, Madhyanika Rudra daivathyam.  But our way of worship in Sriman Narayana or Thayaar is based on Philosophies.  IF Smartha tradition disagrees with ours they can restrict their way of worship to Perumaal Sannadhi in Shaivaite Temples(they already decorate Perumaal with Vibuuthi at Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, Nellai, Kamakshi Amman Temple etc.. as we do with Naamakaaara Pillaiyar in Srirangam).  But to breach our tradition which is based on our understanding of Parabrahmam is not permissible.  Although we stand in unison for Sanathana Darma, Our Dharma Paripalanam is based on our Acharyas interpretation of the Vedic Dharma and we are right to follow it as a strong tradition. Decorating ou!
