------- start of forwarded message (RFC 934 encapsulation) ------- From: "Narayanan, Neera J"To: Date: Sat, 18 Mar 95 10:41:00 EST hi mani, I recieved all the introductions in our group. I noticed you didn't seem to disclose very much information about yourself, other than the fact that you are an Ivy Leaguer and working currently, unless of course that is all the information you choose to disclose. There isn't very much to tell about me. My name is Neeraj Narayanan. I must say thanks to Dileepan for it was he who gave Mani's email and got to know about Sri Vaishnavism. I came to this country when I was 12, I'm from Madras. Both my parents are quite religous ergo, since childhood sloghams are recited routinely (almost). I biggest regret is not having learned anySanskrit. The few slokamsI'm familiar with are as follows: Vishnu Sahasranamam, Suprapadham, Varanam Maayirum, Thiruppavai, Hamnuman Salisa, and few others. I am a graduate student hope to graduate in December. I look forward to gain more insight on the actual meaning of Vaishnavism. Thank you, Neeraj ------- end -------
