whether god is really listening to our prayers

Dear Bhaktas, The question "Is god listening to our prayers" arises only in a state of doubt when prayer is asking and that which we asked of God is not received. If however prayer is an outpouring of the heart in love of God, there is a transformation in one's thinking itself. Mahatma Gandhi expressed this concept beautifully thus: "Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart." Dasan Krishnaswamy M.K.
