"Kannan" - Re: One information

I believed that Kannan stood for Kaar Vannan meaning someone who's skin color is that of the color of clouds which is black. In Tamil literature clouds are usually mentioned for their darkness( Kaar Mugil). Shyam Sundar, Kannan ... I see a relation. Maybe I am not right.
