Dear Smt Vasantha, My question was why Ravana asked Maricha to go in Golden Deer form. And why did he go personally to get the deer? Iam not getting your point "Maaricha was trained only call "Raama". Maricha never called "Raamaa" But note that he called "hey lakshmana ..hey sita.." after rama bowed him down. Thanks, Srinath Vasantha Srivatsanwrote:Do not forget Raama was in Maanusha Avatra and acted like a simple man to please his wife for a simple request. Even in most difficult times, Rama being man, wanted to please his wife in very a personal way. That is the reason why he himself went. Secondaly, Ravana knew that only Rama will go after the deer and therefore had instructed Maareecha to Call"Raama" if and when struck by an arrow. obviously,Maaricha was trained only call "Raama". Adiyen Srivatsan. -------------------------------------------------------------- - SrImate rAmAnujAya namaH - To Post a message, send it to: bhakti-list@yahoogroups.com Group Home: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bhakti-list Archives: http://ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/ Your use of Yahoo!
