Venkataachalapati PraNati

I think I had my share of questions. I want to share something else now. Yesterday after I recd. books of Shree Ananta Rangaachaar - I was looking at my collections and I found unpublished work of my father -Shreeman Kuntimaddi Seshacharlu on Venkatachalapati PraNati. This is a small book of Venkateswara sthuti - 45 sloka-s. I was pleasantly surprised to read in the introduction and in one of the sloka-s. If I can translate the telugu part- He wrote - " Last June 1990, Shreeman N.S Ananta Rangaacharlu from Bangalore asked me if there are any new works on Shree Venkateswara Stuti - Is there any thing that you have written recently - I said I did not write any - but he motivated me to write this - started on 26 June and finished on 28th, 1990 .... and Let him hear this composition" There are 45 slokas - of these the 42nd one the sloka reads padyaanyanatarangaa chaaryanumatena sheshhadaasena venkaTa dharaNiipatiH aalekhaya damuuni paThita doshhaj~naaH|| ananta rangaacharya anumatena seshadaasena amuuni padyaani vennkaTa dharanii dharapateH aalekhayat| doshhaj~naaH paTita| According to the wishes of Shree Ananta Rangachaarya, Lord Venkateswara has propelled this Seshadaasa to compose these poems. I hope these will be read by the pandits ( doshhaj~naaH - who know the right from wrong). We just heard the telephone lectures of Shree Ananta Rangachar. I am pleasantly surprised that my father knew him well. Additional motivation for me to go and prostrate at the feet of the achaarya when I visit Bangalore next time. I would like to post slowly sloka-s from this Venkateswara praNati along with the meaning on the list. I am also slowly translating another small book of my father on VishishhTadvaita and post bit by bit from this book also. Hari OM! Sadananda -- K.
