Sacrilege at Srirangam

Good news at last.After a last ditch effort by the Srirangam Temple Heritage Protection Committee,Srirangam Sthalathars ,Sri Sri Ranganarayana Jeer Swamy , Tirukkoshtiyur Sri Madhavan,Sri Tirumanjanam Sundararajan ,Sri Govindan(BJP),Sri Velukkudi Krishnan and numerous well wishers ,the H.R.&C.E. Commissioner has issued  a press statement as follows :"The image of Mahalakshmi is being restored in deference to the request of the public" .This is a moral victory for truth and yet another leela enacted by PeriyaPerumal to create an awakening ,alertness regarding our Sat Sampradaya among all Asthikas.We request all asthikas all over the world to pray to Lord Ranganatha for the successful conduct of the mahasamprokshanam.We thank the honourable members of the Press for their spontaneous support and  wide coverage in the various dailies,.We also thank members of the Bhakthi group and all other Asthigas who supported the noble cause from all corners of the globe proving that distance is no bar for the love of the Supreme God, Periyaperumal Sriman Narayana.
