Priya Devotees:
I am looking for the Tape (Upanyasam) which had the 18 reasons as to why
sri rAmAnuja was made to
go back 18 times before he became qualified to receive the meanings of the
rahasyas.
It was something like everytime sri rAmAnuja went to gOshti pUrNA, he was
asked to conquer
samsara, etc etc. Only after he could conquer the 1st thing he could be
told what the 2nd step to do
was. (Hence the 18 Times).
I would appreciate any information on this upanyasam (on info on it).
Please reply off list.
Once i get the info, I will make it publicly available.
