Dear Members,

We appear to be getting sidetracked. The member who
originally asked about Agamas just wanted to know the
basics about them, and from Sri Anbil Ramaswamy's
note, among others, we have learnt about it.

Now we see one member flooding us with provocative and
sarcastic posts, arguing issues which by his own admission he 
has no thorough knowledge of, peppered with "adiyEns" and
"dasans". 

If anyone really wishes to carry on an argument with 
Sri Sampathkumaran, I suggest they take it privately, and 
spare us the fight, which Sri Sampathkumaran so avidly seems 
to desire.

Or, as another member privately wrote to me:

> I feel sorry for the original
> questioner who really wanted to learn about
> Agamas. He must be thinking he has stepped
> into a madhouse.

So please, ignore our friend who seems to have different
motivations than the rest of us.
