thoo nilA muRRam - part 35  - Anantha kalpa vAsam of Sri ArA amuthan

Dear bAgawathAs,

	At this happiest instant Sri hEma maharishi pleaded to  the
Lord that HE and Sri kOmaLa valli  thAyAr  be present in this thiru
kOlam for  anantha kOdi kalpAs and accept several ursavams from all
bhakthALS.  Lord  accepted  this.  With   the   help  of  celestial
architect and  constructor  Sri  Vishwa karmA the temple, prAhArams
were immediately built. They all stayed  there  for  the whole year
and  never  went  back  to  their  places.  During  the  year  they
celebrated the  presence  of the Lord  and thAyAr in many ursavams.
When the next "mahara sankarAnthi" dawned, they observed it  as the
"thiru thEr theerttha vAri" day.

	They  also had the brahma ursavam on the very same day. The
"theerttha vAri" from the Sri hEma pushkaraNi was also observed  on
the  same day. They would not even move an  inch from  enjoying the
beauty of this nectar  Sri  ArA amuthan and Sri kOmaLa valli thAyAr
for the whole year and ever since. This parama  Anantha "kAthci  of
sowntharyam" is  unavailable anywhere  else  in  any  lOkam.  Hence
everyone decided to stay at the holy feet  of  the  Lord  for  ever
and  keep  having  HIS  darshanam   and  doing  service without any
interruption. This is similar to how Sri Adi  sEshan is having this
ArAtha  amirtha  darshanam  for several kalpAs without even winking
his eyes.

       After this Sri brahmA and others worshipped the holy feet of
Sri sArngan and Sri  kOmaLa valli thAyAr and initiated the chithrai
"thiru thEr" ursavam  during  chithra mAsam Chithrai nakshatthiram.
Likewise, many other ursavams  such as  nithyam,  naimitthigam  and
such several other ursavmas  are  celebrated in accordance with the
Sri pancharathra agama. Sri ArA amuthan and Sri kOmaLa valli thAyAr
blesses with parama anughram  forall  HIS  disciples  during  these
ursavams (*).
