my post on LNKS-17
From the Bhakti List Archives

Dear friends, In the last post on LNKS No: 17, commenting on Verse#96 of the "dayA-satakam", I had referred to Swami Desikan's word "vichintya" as the equivalent of "terrifying". Actually the phrase should be "vichintya trasyAmi" as it appears in the actual verse. It is only when it is read that way that the expression denotes "terror". I thank the list member who pointed this out to me in a private mail. Since it was a very pertinent point raised by him I thought it was worth sharing it with other members on the list. (It only shows how many "dayA-satakam" lovers there are in the whole wide world!) adiyen dAsan, Sudarshan ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
