Just wondering. > > namo naaraayaNaaya, > > - K To add to this information from Sri Krishna Susarla, adiyEn had the bhAgyam of attending the upanyAsam on Srimadh BhAgavatam by Sri Velukkudi Krishnan swami during the dhanurmAsam on all the days. He also delivered the same note that Buddha is an avatArA of Sriman Narayana to save the Vedas from the Asuras, by saying(a lie ) that they are not the pramANAs of any sort. There are a lot of BhAshyams for Srimadh BhAgavatham, but the most authentic one and following the VisishTAdvaitic philosophy was by Sri Veeraragavachariar who dates back to a period earlier that swAmi emberumAnAr. As this BhAshyam of Sri Veeraragavachariar is accepted by our poorvAcharyAs including swAmi emberumAnAr adiyen feel that it is quite true that Buddha is an avatArA of Sriman Narayana. How none of the poorvAchAryAs openly disclaim this or even support this. Anything wrong in my above not is entirely due to my misunderstanding or careless attention in the upanyAsam. Credit for correctness goes to Sri Velukkudi Krishnan swAmi. adiyEn RAmAnuja dAsan, Thirumalai Vinjamoor Venkatesh Regards T.V.Venkatesh E-mail : TVV@SANMARGROUP.COM Phone: 91-44-4960455 extn. 5218 Fax : 91-44-4960913 Visit : http://www.sanmargroup.com ***** Message Was Scanned For Viruses *****
