Thiruvaaymozhi 6.9- PLEASE DO NOT PUSH ME IN SENSUAL PLEASUERES!

Dearest Sisters and Brothers,

ParangusanAyaki sent the birds and bees as messengers to the Lord but 
all in vain. He has not appeared. Now, AzhwAr herself (or himself) 
attempts to call Him in this ten. 

1. BhagawaanE! You ARE the One who is in the form of Pancha bhUthAs., 
namely., water, Earth, Fire, Air and the vast space. You are the One who 
is the Brightest Sun and the Coolest Moon. Is that alone? You are the 
One who has become Siva and BrahmA. Such Greatest Lord of mine, for ONE 
DAY AT LEAST, for me,  You should show Your unbounded, wonderful, 
"asaadhaaraNa" Divine Body and shower mercy on me. You show this cruel 
sinner, Your Divya MangaLa thirumEni with the Most Beautiful ChakrA and 
Sanghu in Your Hands. You should show me Your Most Beautiful Lotus Feet. 
Even if it is NOT for me, You should at least show Yourself to the 
ultimate absolute enjoyment of the Earthly people and DevAs and prove 
the eternal existence of Your Nitya VibhUti.  

2. BhagawaanE! You are the Wonderful Lord, who appeared as Vaamanan and 
showed Your Greatness to the Earth and DevAs, by measuring the entire 
Universe in two steps. I want to dance with You and stay besides You. 
For that, You should only come to me. (I don't see You). I, (the One who 
considers only seeing You as the ultimate purpose of my life), should 
enjoy Your walking in front of me. (You can walk in front of that asuran 
MahAbhali, not in front of me, who wants only that. Am I worse than 
mahAbhali, KaNNA!)

3. EmperumaanE! For yugas, ages, time immemorial, You have been 
protecting us and saving us by Your walking, Standing, Sitting and lying 
down at various Divya sthalams. AT ALL TIMES, You are always with Your 
Consort Periya Piraatti MahAlakshmi and show Yourself So Gracefully with 
Her. For such DivyaDampati, I have Not been joining Them, and HAVE 
WASTED years and years and births and births. Still I am wasting and 
will I NOT be able to see You and join You now also and will wither away 
suffering greatly and languishing for You, without seeing You? 
(nampiLLAi infers that this pAsuram is "akaaram" of Thirumanthram. It 
talks about Emperumaan's Sarvarakshathvam. Sarvarakshathvam is referred 
when AzhwAr says He protects everyone and every being. With Periya 
Piraatti, He shows Himself and hence is Sriya: Pathih is the Only One to 
be sought after. - akaaram of Thirumanthram.- Also, NampiLLai refers 
this pAsuram to be an explanation of Artha Panchakam. With Periya 
Piraatti- MahAlakshmi- Emperumaan- Brahmam is described. adiyEn denotes 
jIvAthmA. He protects all lives- denotes upaayam. To join You and be 
with You- Palam. Will I wither away without seeing You at all- denotes 
VirOdhi swarUpam.- What a great interpretaion by NampiLLai!)

4. BhagawaanE! You appeared as KaNNan, and kicked the sakatAsuran, who 
came as a wheel, to kill You, and in the process he got himself kicked 
by Your little foot and killed! You showed Your  leg's greatness to the 
world! Such Greatest Lord of mine- You are worshipped in Group by 
BrahmA, Sivan, Indran and DevAs. You are Their Chief! You should show 
Yourself in the sky for me to see You some day at least!

5. Oh EmperumaanE! the One who is at ParamaPadham! You are standing at 
Tirumala (Tirupati!); You are lying down and having Your YoganithrA on 
Milk Ocean (ThiruppaaRkadal); You take various avataars and live with us 
in our midst like ordinary being; But, You also live in all beings as an 
antharyaami, without being seen; You are beyond comprehension and beyond 
one's understanding; You stay in the entire vast universe and protect as 
Sarvarakshakan; You also stay in my hear without any gap, 
uninterruptedly. In spite of ALL THIS, You ARE HIDING YOURSELF from me 
without showing Your form! (AzhwAr, Dearest Sisters and Brothers, in 
this pAsuram describes all Emperumaan's states (Param, VyUham, Vivhavam, 
Archai and Antharyaami)

6. You are a Great Maayavan and appeared as Trivikraman. In one step, 
You covered the entire world! In next step, You measured the whole sky, 
touching the whole universe with Your Foot! I have been LONGINg to see 
Such Greatest You and have been suffering terribly like a wax kept close 
to the fire, melting for You. Should I search the WHOLE WORLD looking 
for You?

7. EmperumaanE! You exist as (karmAs) duties that are performed here in 
this world and are still unbounded by them; You also exist as those who 
perform such karmAs, too. You are the same one who is their respective 
AthmAs also; You are the One who directs even the mukthAs, who are there 
in all ten directions countlessly (outside this universe). In as much 
You exist in the objects that can be seen, You also exist in those 
formless (jIv)AthmAs even, as antharyaami. You are so wonderful and 
Greatest! You have so much unbounded capacity! When I see my limitless 
foolishness and stupid jnAnam, that is also huge; Please do not mind 
that and don't look down at me; Please show mercy on me, this lowly 
self, too!   

8. Oh PerumaanE! The One who is the AthmA for jnAnis! You should show 
Your mercy on me, who has NO OTHER MEANS FOR ME EXCEPT YOUR GRACE. Oh My 
Lord! The One who has limitless, unbounded Divine Beauty and has the 
Most Fragrant Divya MagaLa ThirumEni, NATURALLY! (Even though now, I am 
NOT able to see You and touch You; You still made me crazee after Your 
Most Beautiful ThirumEni, by showing that in Your Divya kshEthrams). I 
DONOT HAVE ANY ONE nor ANY MEANS for my redemption. Please DO NOT PUSH 
me into other things by Your strategies and mischiefs. Please do not let 
me go any where away from the path towards reaching You! Don't leave me!

9. EmperumaanE! Please DO NOT PUSH ME AND LET MY MIND GET CONTAMINATED 
BY THE INFLUENCE OF FIVE SENSE ORGANS AND PUSH ME INTO SENSUAL 
PLEASURES; I HAVE BEEN BORN TO ENJOY THE GREATEST PLEASURE (of eternal 
Bliss!) and DO NOT PUSH ME, END ME AND SATISFY ME WITH JUST LITTLE 
SENSUAL PLEASURES. For those BEAUTIFUL LOTUS FEET, HAS THE TIME NOT YET 
COME CLOSER TO CALL ME NEAR THEM?  "KoovikkoLLum kaalam innum 
kuRugaadhO?" (When PiLLaan was in his death bed, Namjeear was crying 
ceaselessly with tears rolling down cheeks; PiLLan said:  "KoovikkoLLum 
kaalam innum kuRugaadhO?" "NajeeyarE! Why are you feeling sad? I am 
going to enjoy the Greatest Pleasure and Blissful Happiness at His Lotus 
Feet; Feel happy!- adadaaa! What an anubhavam! We wish we get that 
feeling when we are on our death beds!- Let us pray to Him for such bent 
of minds now it self!)

10. (In this pAsuram, AzhwAr says kaimkaryam is better than even 
kaivalya inbham and Athmanubhavam.) BhagawaanE! For me, only serving You 
as Your eternal servant is the Greatest and most sought after; Even the 
Athmanubhavam, compared to Kaimkaryam is like the sensual pleasure; The 
One , by nature never gets reduced or exhausted, never get bigger or 
smaller, has the limitless, anubhavam of the AthmA, by nature- that is 
kaivlya ainbham- AthmAnubhavam- even that is little pleasure only 
compared to eternal kaimkaryam at Your Lotus Feet. I do not want that 
AthmAnubhavam. I pray to You only for being an eternal servant at Your 
Lotus Feet; Even if it is only for minutest fraction of time, I need 
that only. That is the Purushaartham for me. Even that minutest 
Kaimkaryam that You allow me to serve You is much greater compared to 
the unbounded, limitless, eternal ArthmAnubhavam. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUE 
FOR KAIMKARYAM AT YOUR LOTUS FEET FOR ME.

11. Bhagawaan, Emperumaan can not be comprehended by any one. By knowing 
Him, by mediating on Him, by thinking of Him, one can NOT understand Him 
completely. About such Greatest Emperumaan, Sri SadagOpar, the One who 
is the servant of servant of servant of Emperumaan, has sung 1000 
pAsurams. Out of those 1000, readers of these ten, will enable them to 
become ETERNAL SERVANTS OF EMPAERUMAAN FOE EVER.
