Dear SrI Venkat Ramanan:

A true translation is published as Volume 48 of the "Sacred Books of the East" Series edited by Max Muller, and published by Motilal Banarsidass.  The title is "Vedanta Sutra-s, with the Commentary of Ramanuja, translated by George Thibaut.  I got my copy at Jayalakshmi Indological Book House, 6 Appar Swamy Koil Street, Madras.  This book store is an excellent place (the best I have come across) for books on topics of interest to followers of the viSishTAdvaita philosophy.
