Here are  my thoughts reg the question about the relevence of Bhati list
that you have posed today

In Bhakti list we have 1200+ members.While restructuring the list you
strictly limited it to the discussion on the works and philosophy of
Svami Ramanuja and the azhwars.I feel there are very few members who can
purposefully engage in discussions in this specific area,which means that
many members may find these discussions at a higher level for them to
participate and appreciate.Thus you must have noticed that the
membership has also come down slightly.

		My view is that it would be better if the bhakti-list
would be more inclusive  with the scope and restrictions on the lines of
"sv-general" group.Specific discussions on Svami Ramanuja and azhwars may
be restricted to a smaller foccussed group who can engage in these
discussions.Even after few months that have passed ,i have not found
discussions on the works of Svami Ramanuja as it was intended.

Bhakti list has been very benificial for many members like me ;sitting in
one corner of the world to be  able to involve and participate in this
sathsangam ,learn so much about our sampradayam,know about festivals and
other happenings in various Divya desams,sometimes being able
to Participate in some kaimkaryams for some lesser known Divya desams
etc all at the same time which i dont think is possible even by staying
in a Diya desam....

This list should continue and continue to benifit the future aspirants
with various levels of familiarity who want to know and share the glory
of Bhagavath Ramanuja Sampradayam.
