Hello to all,
           I joined the group recently and this is my self introduction 
mail.
      My name is Krishnan Sampathkumar. I am presently pursuing Ph.D at 
Denver. I was born in Srirangam but brought up completely in Madras. My 
family  follows Thenacharyan school of thought (Vanamamalai Jeeyar). I had 
the opportunity to know about the bhakti list and activities taking place in 
the Srivaishnava community from Mohan Sagar, Madhuri Sagar and T.A. 
Varadhan. I have been reading the e-mail discussions for the past several 
months and really happy that the main focus of the discussion group has been 
on Perumal and his glories. I hope to gather a lot of knowledge about 
Srivaishnava sampradhayam from such discussions among erudite members and 
will try to contribute usefully to the discussions. I thank Mr. Mani 
Varadajan for providing such an excellent opportunity to all members to 
learn more about the spiritual tradition.
