Dear Bhagavathas, My wife and I have just returned from a five week visit to India with many fond memories of not only our own family, but also of the temples that we visited and the SriVaishnava families that we met. Although we had to balance our pursuit of SriVaishnava culture with family and wedding obligations, we took every opportunity to stay connected with the SV community and our temples. During our five week stay, we had the opportunity to visit Thirupati, Kanchipuram, and several notable temples in and around Hyderabad. We also met with several members of this forum or their families and engaged in many interesting discussions on the riches of our tradition. Wherever we travelled, I made sure that I mentioned this forum and the related activities of SDDS and Ahobila Math USA. Everyone that we spoke with expressed their happiness in knowing that there is so much interest in preserving our Sampradayam, both in and outside of India. Over the next several postings, I would like to take the opportunity to share some musings on the places we visited and the people that we met. I hope that you will find these interesting. --continued-- Daasanu Daasan, Mohan
