Hello! Everyone!!
			My name is parthasarathy (Ranganathan) and I am a
graduate student at Rice University. Thanks to Mr. Mani Varadarajan for
introducing me to the mailing list. As I had indicated in my mail to him, I
dont think I am too qualified to talk about many of the topics which come
up in this mail group, however, I would love to listen to what more
knowledgeable people have to say about these and hence my joining this news
group...

			I am from Madras, my father lived in Kancheepuram
and my mother lived in Tirupathi. I have been fortunate in that I have had
plenty of occasions to visit the temples in these places when I went to
visit my grandparents.

	Can someone explain what are the main ideological  differences
between the vadagalai and thengalai positions. ( I have seen some petty
differences during the Kanchi Garuda sevais,...)
