Srimathe Ramanujaya namaha! Is or Are there any direct reference(s) to the Bhagavath Gitaa in Naalaayira dhivya Prabhandha?May I request the learned bhagavathaas to clarify ?I know of a reference in Raamanuja Nootrandhaadhi.".... ThErinil nindru seppiya Geethaiyin semmai...'.... Is there any reference in any of the Paasurams sung by the Great Alwars ? Dhasan, Vasudevan [ There is a partial answer to this question by Prof. Vasudha Narayanan at http://www.ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/jul97/0015.html . It is a little bit puzzling that the Alvars have not referred to the Gita more frequently, but I suspect this is because they preferred to engage themselves in the contemplation of Krishna's saulabhya epitomized in the krishna-lIlA. -- Moderator ] -------------------------------------------------------------- - SrImate rAmAnujAya namaH - To Post a message, send it to: bhakti-list@yahoogroups.com Group Home: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bhakti-list Archives: http://ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/ Your use of Yahoo!
