Dear Anand and Friends,
A very incomplete answer is contained in my answer to
a similar question some time ago:
http://www.ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/may98/0061.html
But, in my opinion, the *best* way to learn about the
differences is to listen to the next teleophone
discourse of Dr. N.S. Ananta Rangacharya, a scholar
well-versed of all three schools of Vedanta. In his
next discourse, coming up Sunday, July 22, Dr. NSA
will speak in simple English about the comparative
approaches of Sankara, Ramanuja, and Madhva to the
Isa Upanishad. You should be able to get an outstanding
introduction to these three different branches of the
Vedanta by listening.
Please contact Krishna Kalale (kkalale1@san.rr.com)
for more info about the lectures and stay tuned to
email on the bhakti-list.
