MandalAbhishEkam : The Foraml conclusion of the MahA samproKshaNam at Sri RanganAthA Temple, Pomona , NY: Saturday , July 14 ,2001.

Dear Sri RanganAtha BhakthAs:

It is almost like Yesterday . The VadihikAgnis
were glowing in the three Kuntams at YaagasAla.
Final PoorNaahUthi was completed. Final worship was 
performed at The Nava Padhma MaNDalam . The 8 priests 
placed the Silver kalasams on their heads on their SummAdus .
Their mouths were covered with Vasthrams . They 
were lifted gently up by the cherry picker amidst 
the sprinkles from heaven and One by One the consecrated 
waters from the Silver Kumbhams were poured on the Individual 
vimAnams over the 8 Sannidhis .

The PraNavAkAra VimAnam of Lord RanganAtha was 
the First VimAnam to be consecrated with the sacred waters .
Garuda BhagavAn's VimAnam was the last one to be consecrated.
Flowers came down from the heavens and the MahA SamprOkshaNam
was completed thus on May 27 in front of hundreds 
of delighted Sri RanganAtha BhakthAs.

Next day , the MandalAbhishEka Uthsavam started 
and eight priests performed AbhishEkam and 
AarAdhanam every day thereafter strictly according to 
PaancharAthra Aagamic rites. This MaNDalAbhishEkam 
will conclude on Saturday , July 14 ,2001 after 
48 days of daily abhishEkams.

All the Seven NaaraayaNa Murthys of the temple  
sannidhis will have grand Thirumanjanam (Sacred Bath)
on July 14 and with that the MahA SamprOkshaNam would be 
completed as per Aagamic rites. The July 14 ceremonies 
will start with Visvaroopa darsanam at 8 AM , 
continue with Thirumanjanam for the PerumALs
at 10 AM , grand SaRRumuRai at 12.30 PM and
prasAdham will be distributed at 1.00 PM.  

Grand preparations are being made to celebrate 
the conclusion of the MahA SamprOkshaNam with
this MaNDalAbhishEkam on July 14 . 

Please mark this date of Saturday , July 14 on
Your calendars and participate in the MaNDalAbhishEkam
and receive the anugrahams of Sri RanganAtha , 
Sri Lakshmi Narasimhan , Sri VeNu GopAlan , 
Sri Raamachandran, ThiruvEnkadamudayAn,
Lakshmi HayagrIvan , Sudarsana BhagavAn , 
MahA Lakshmi and ANDAL .Rarely does anyone have
this  opportunity to take part in such a grand 
and sacred ceremony. Please come with friends 
and Family and participate .

Please sponsor  individual AbhishEkams and 
AarAdhanams for your ishta dhaivathams ,
Anna DhAnam , Flowers , ThuLasi Kaimkaryams 
on this historical day. Please send me a note 
about your plans regarding sponsorships of
individual abhishEkams and other Kaimkaryams.

The next grand ceremony is scheduled for July 21,
(Saturday)when ANDAL's Thirunakshathram will be 
celebrated. THiruppAvai , NaacchiyAr Thirmoizhi 
will be recited and cultural programs
are also under plan .The celebrations will start
with Visvaroopam at 8 AM and conclude with 
MahA prasAdham at 1.00 PM . Please plan to
attend on both July 14 and July 21. Every one is
invited to participate in these grand uthsavams.
