Internal Dear SrI MAdhavakkaNNan swAmi, I thank you for the good post. But I request you to kindly make a note of the following mistakes (spelling or typing or memory) You wrote: > nAthEna muni nAthEna bhavEyam nathavan ahamam | The correct version with will lead to proper meaning is > nAthEna muninA tEna bhavEyam nAthavAn ahamam (you have repeated nAthEna twice, but after "muni", it is "tEna" and nathavan & nAthavAn transliteration error) nAthEna and muninA are in third case (mUndRAm VETRumai uRubu) You wrote: >Swamy desikan says: >Gaanam valampuriyanna naR kaadhal adiyavarkku/ The correct version of the above line is > kALam valampuri yannanaR kada ladiyavarkkuth Gaanam is incorrect. kALam is the correct reading. kALam refers to a musical instrument termed kALaham/gALaham. Also, when Tamil verses are written, the "Seer" and "taLai" must be taken care such that it the line is appropriately split. Also, when quoting swAmi dESika, we need to be very careful because each word of swAmi is highly packed with ultimate knowledge and misrepresentation even by slightest mistake even unintentionally becomes a sensitive issue in many cases.
