Fact or Fiction

Thanks to Dileepan for initiating this discussion. Otherwise Mani would not have written his thoughts on this subject! Mani's position largely reflects the opinion of most of us. I think age is also a factor. As we grow older some of our 'scientific way' of looking at things gives way to the supra-natural and the super-sensuous. Also true stories (even if they are 50% true) like that of Adi Sankara's where he is rescued by Lakshmi Narasimha, of Natha Munigal where he is blessed with the Divine presence of Chakravarthi Tirumagan and several other instances from Ramanujacharya's life is enough to show that there are realms beyond science and 'faith' is the key. When doubts and scepticism trouble us, we should remind ourselves that Only Bhagavan can reveal to us what is true and what is not. Vijayaraghavan Srinivasan
