Om NaMo Naaraayanaaya Dear venerable group members: The point of " meat " was referred, to reason out Vaidehi's grand father forbidding her from eating in a non brahmin's house. Sundar may be absolutely right in his mention of sacrifice etc. but what about the prevailing practice in the generation of vaidehi's grandfather? I am sure there would have been some brahmin meat eaters in that generation too but that would have been an exception rather than a rule. Subham I.K.Rengarajan
