Lord Hanuman

Dear Prapatti Group Members: Lots of interesting postings on Hanuman. I worship Lord Hanuman and when I read Sundara Khandam His glories make great impressions. However, I am intrigued by the following: (1) How does a Paramaikantin of Ramanuja Sampradaya view the worship of Lord Hanuman. (2) Swami Vedanta Desika while devoting 2 stotras on Periya Thiruvadi (Lord Garuda) did not write a stotra about Lord Hanuman. (3) Madhva Sampradayam attaches greater importance to Lord Hanuman. This is quite in contrast to our position. (4) The incident in Uttara Khandam, where Lord Hanuman defends His Bhakta against the will of Lord Rama. Does this have anything to do with Prapathhy Shastra. (5) I am also told that Lord Hanuman is Ekadasha Rudra Amsham. Do we accept this position. (6) We don't recite "Budhhir Balam....." in our Ramayana Dhyana slokam (Shri Anbil Swamigal has quoted this slokam). I would appreciate if members could treat the above questions as purely coming from an academic stand-point. Vijayaraghavan Srinivasan
