Some more questions on the epic: 1. There is an incidence in uttara Ramayana ( one can dismiss it as not part of Ramayana ) where a Sudra (or Chandala ) wants to ascend the heaven with his physical body, just as it was possible for a brahmin. It is forbidden by Manu Dharma and he is beheaded by Rama. 2. Some of the explanations on Sita resort to present Karma pala. This effectively reasons that all our status in this world is ruled by present or past karma. Salvation is possible by bhakti. Do'nt we see the world different from such a a simple reasoning?
