Dear Prapannas, I recently received an appeal from the Andavan Asramam 
requesting donations for the publication of the third volume of Chillarai 
Rahasyangal of Swamy Desikan. I would like to bring this to your kind
attention.

                           An Appeal to Asthikas

We have great pleasure in bringing to your kind notice that Srimad Andavan
of Srimad Poundareekapuram Swamy Asramam, Srirangam, has been kind enough to
fulfil the long-cherished desire of Srivaishnavas by taking up the publication
of the third volume of Chillarai Rahasyangal of Swamy Desikan with the notes
and summary (in Tamil) prepared by the well known scholar Vangeepuram
Navaneetem Sriramadesikachriar Swamy of Oppiliappan Koil. This is the last
volume in this series. His Holiness has entrusted the execution of the 
publication to a committee consisting of the following members :

1. Srimad Andavan, (President)
   Srimad Poundareekapuram Swamy Asramam, Srirangam

2. Sri R.Krishnan (Vice President)

3. Dr. S.Parthasarathy (Secretary & Treasurer)

4. Sri U.Ve.T.E.Ranganathachariar Swami

5. Sri C.R.Srinivasan

6. Sri P.A.Ranganatha Thathachariar

7. Sri S.Rajagopalan

Such an ambitious project cannot be executed without generous contributions
from institutions and individuals with a philanthropic bent of mind. Given
the nature of the work, we have to depend on patrons' contributions rather
than sales. We therefore appeal to you to join this noble endeavour by
way of generous contributions which may be sent through A/C payee in the 
name of S.Parthasarathy and thereby earn the blessings of Swamy Desikan
and Sriman Narayana.

I am told that they need Rs.30,000 to complete this project in the next
two months. If you plan to send $50 or more, your name will be included
as one of the donors. If it is for a lesser amount, it would be better
of one single person to collect these cheques (I can do this) and send
a consolidated DD to Dr.Parthasarathy.
