Post no. 45

Dear Sri vaishnava perunthagaiyeer,

In this post we will see certain naamaas which are first stated and then not satisfied with that another naamaa is just immediately added, glorifying further, the previously stated naamaa. As in post 38 we can say, it is more value addition in the subsequent naamaa. 

The difference between post 38 and this post 45 is, 
*	in post 38 we saw prefixes added to the first naamaa thereby retaining the word content, 
*	in post 45 it is the following naamaa or the succeeding one, with the succeeding naamaa can be totally unrelated to the first stated in its word content. 

We can also take the second naamaa says "not only that...as stated now... but also more - see next" situation.
 
For example first it is "Om sahasra jithE nama:" - meaning: the conqueror of 1000 aeons and evil doers. [limited to 1000]. Not satisfied with that statement made, Sri Bheeshmaa immediately adds in the next naamaa "Om anantha jithE nama:" meaning: ever victorious - he alone wins in the end - victor of innumerable [limit is infinity].

Like that a number of successive naamaas are there in SVSN.  That is the speciality in this post. May be we have to have more than one post on this specialty.

1.	Om vishNave nama: -- naamaa no. 2 occurring in slOkam 1
	Meaning: one who pervades

	Also naamaa no. 259 occurring in slOkam 28
	meaning for 259- the pervader

	Also naamaa no. 663 occurring in slOkam 70
	meaning for 663 - who pervades the entire universe

	succeeding naamaa is 
	-- Om vashatkaaraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 3 occurring in slOkam 1
	Meaning: one pervades, also controls and directs.
	[dear bhakthaas -- please see not only pervades but also controls and directs]

2.	Om Bhootha kruthE nama: -- naamaa no. 5 occurring in slOkam 1
meaning: the creator of all beings or all creatures. 
[Bhoothaani karOthi ithi Bhoothakruth]
[Bhoothaani krundhathi ithi Bhoothakruth]

Om Bhootha BhruthE nama: -- naamaa no. 6 occurring in slokam 1 
meaning: he bears all things. 
-	who nurtures and nourishes all beings. 
[again please see -- not only creates but also nurtures and nourishes]

3.	Om pootha aathmanE nama: -- naamaa no. 10 occurring in slokam 2 
	meaning: the pure self - one with extremely pure essence of  all souls- [pootham means pure].

	Om parama aathmanE nama: -- naamaa no. 11 occurring in slokam 2 
	meaning: the supreme soul - transcends all limitations and imperfections in matter.
	[please see here not only pure but supreme crossing all limitations and imperfections]

4.	Om praBhavE nama: -- naamaa no.35 occurring in slOkam 4
	Also naamaa no. 300 occurring in slOkam 32
	Meaning: for 35 - he who is all powerful.
	For 300 - he who has supreme power to attract all minds.

	Om eeswaraaya nama: -- naamaa no.36 occurring in slOkam 4
	also naamaa no. 75 occurring in slOkam 9
	meaning: for 36 - the supreme ruler
	for 75 - the ruler - omni potent
	[please see not only powerful but also rules]
	  
5.	Om DhaathrE nama: -- naamaa no. 43 occurring in slOkam 5
	Also naamaa no. 951 in slOkam 102
	Meaning: for 45 - the creator
	For 951 - the preceptor of dharma

	Succeeding naamaa is - 
	Om vi DhaathrE nama: -- naamaa no.44 occurring in slOkam 5
	Also naamaa 485 occurring in slOkam 51
	Meaning:for 44 - the producer
	For 485 - the controller of yama the lord of death and such other functionaries.

	Next naamaa which succeeds is-- 
	Om Dhaathu: uththamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 45 occurring in slOkam 5
	Meaning: the best of creators - the subtlest dhaathu - means ore or base 
	- the fundamental chith dhaathu and that is the uththama dhaathu.

6.	Om vrusha karmaNE nama: -- naamaa no. 113 occurring in slOkam 12
	meaning: he of Dharmic actions - righteous actions.

	Om vrusha aakruthayE nama: -- naamaa no.114 occurring in slOkam 12
	meaning: one whose form or body the aakruthi is Dharma - the embodiment of Dharma
	[see here, he of not only righteous actions but also the very dharma embodiment]

7.	Om avya angaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 131 occurring in slokam 14 
	meaning: who has the all perfect body - he has all the angaas of vEdhaas.

	Om vEdha angaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 132 occurring in slokam 14  
	meaning: for whom the vEdhaas are the body - the angam
	[here, he, not only has all angaas of vEdhaas -means parts of vEdhaas, but the vEdhaas themselves are his body] 

8.	Om sathyaaya nama: --  naamaa no. 213 occurring in slOkam 23
Also naamaa no. 107 occurring in slOkam 12
Also naamaa no. 873 occurring in slOkam 93
Meaning: for 107 - truthful - he who is well disposed towards pious and good people 
- he who is real.
For 213 - the good - the embodiment of truth.
For 873 - he who is established in truth. 
	that which remains same in all three periods viz. Past present and future.

Om sathya paraakramaaya nama: -- naamaa no.214 occurring in slOkam 23
Meaning: he of truthful acts - the dynamic truth.
[see here -- he is not only of truth but also of truthful acts]
 
9.	Om sath karthrE nama: -- naamaa no.242 occurring in slOkam 26
meaning: he who regards good doers and pious. 
He who revels and adorns who are good and wise 
- [sath karOthi ithi sathkarthaa]

Om sath kruthaaya nama: -- naamaa no.243 occurring in slOkam 26  
meaning: He who is worshipped [by not only good people but all]
-	adored by all good people.
[see here not only he adores the good but also the good adores him - this adoring is mutual]

10.	Om vrusha ahiNE nama: -- naamaa no. 257 occurring in slOkam 28
	meaning: who has the day which is Dharma itself 
	- controller of all actions and dispenser of all results.

	Om vrushaBhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 258 occurring in slOkam 28
	meaning: one who showers all Dharma is vrushaBha: 
	- or who has Dharma as his grace showered on all.
	[see here he not only dispenses or gives the fruits of actions but also showers- meaning pouring, giving in large volume - the dharma itself as his grace]

11.	Om sahasra jithE nama: -- naamaa no.307 occurring in slOkam 33
	meaning: the conqueror of 1000 aeons and evil doers.

	Om anantha jithE nama: -- naamaa no. 308 occurring in slOkam 33
	meaning: ever victorious - he alone wins in the end - victor of innumerable.

12.	Om nakshathra nEmayE nama: -- naamaa no. 441 occurring in slOkam 47
Meaning: he who supports the dynamic movement of all constellations of stars in the sky 
- I am moon among the stars - in bhagavath geetha 10 -21

Om nakshathriNe nama: -- naamaa no. 442 occurring in slOkam 47
Meaning: he who has all the stars 
[see here - he is not only the supporter but the very possessor of these stars]
