Dear Sri vaishnava perunthagaiyeer,

In this post, we will continue to see first a naamaa is spelt in sree vishNu sahasra naamavaLi and then a prefix is added to this naamaa to give further qualification, additional effect or more emphatic meaning or glorify further. 

As stated already the serial number is given for the first naama only. 

1.	Om sthiraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 205 occurring in slOkam 22
	Meaning: he who is firm and steadfast - changeless at all times.

	Om saasvatha sthiraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 633 occurring in slOkam 67
	Meaning: one who is ever eternal and stable - eternally existent and steady.

2.	Om varDhanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 262 occurring in slOkam 28
	Meaning: he who nourishes all.

	Om thanthu varDhanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 791 occurring in slOkam 84
	Meaning: he who spreads and augments the net of samsaara.

	Om vamsa vardhanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 850 occurring in slOkam 90
	Meaning: he who keeps the progeny growing. 
	- he who multiplies his family of descendents.
	Lord's family is the whole universe of things and beings.

	Om preethi varDhanaaya nama: -- naamaa no.879 occurring in slOkam 93
	Meaning: he who augments the joy of devotees.

3.	Om ishtaaya nama: -- naamaa no.309 occurring in slOkam 34
	Meaning: he who is liked by one and all

	Om sishta ishtaaya nama: -- naamaa no.311 occurring in slOkam 34
	Meaning: he who is dear to learned persons.

4.	Om vrushaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 314 occurring in slOkam 34
	meaning: he is the nature of Dharma. [vrushO hi Bhagavaan Dharma: - vrusha:]

	Om thEjO vrushaaya nama: -- naamaa no.763 occurring in slOkam 81
	Meaning: one who showers splendour, radiance. As the sun showers heat and light.

5.	Om karthrE nama: -- naamaa no. 317 occurring in slOkam 33. 
	Also naamaa no.382 occurring in slokam 41.
	meaning: for naamaa 317 - the slayer of kaarthaveeryarjuna . 
	for naamaa 382 - the doer - the agent - the very creative impulse behind.

	Om vikarthrE nama: - naamaa no. 383 occurring in slokam 41
	Meaning: he who undergoes modification 
	- who creates the infinite varities that constitutes the universe.

	Om sath karthrE nama: -- naamaa no.242 occurring in slOkam 26
	meaning: he who regards good doers and pions. 
	He who revels and adorns who are good and wise - [sath karOthi ithi sathkarthaa]

6.	Om aDhishtaanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 326 occurring in slOkam 35
Meaning: the substratum for the entire universe 
	the supporter koorma when mandhara mountain was used for churning the milk ocean.
 
Om lOka aDhishtaanaaya nama: naamaa no. 895 occurring in slOkam 95
Meaning: the sole substratum for the entire universe of things and beings 
- who is the support of of all worlds.

7.	Om sahaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 370 occurring in slOkam 40
Meaning: patient lord - he who has patience to tolerate any act.

Om sarva sahaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 867 occurring in slOkam 92
meaning: he who supports all - one who carries the entire universe.

Om sabdha sahaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 912 occurring in slOkam 97
Meaning: one who allows himself to be invoked by vEdhaas 
	responds to the calls of devotees.

8.	Om maargaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 366 occurring in slOkam 40
	Meaning: he who is always sought after by his devotees.

	Om virajO maargaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 398 occurring in slOkam 43
	Meaning: whose route is faultless. 

	[since this naamaa is not separately numbered as 398 by Sri bhattar the naamaa is treated as combined with previous viraja and treated as virajOmaarga: - in the commentary this naamaa is treated as viratha and commented upon, and then combined with naamaa maarga. combinedly the meaning is given as above.]

9.	Om udhBhavaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 374 occurring in slOkam 41
	Also naamaa no. 796 occurring in slOkam 85
	Meaning: for 374- the remover of bondage.
	For 796 - he who has risen above the mundane existence.

	Om amrutha amsu udhBavaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 284 occurring in slOkam 31
	Meaning: the very source of nectar rayed moon

10.	Om dhEvaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 376 occurring in slOkam 41
	meaning: who plays with creations 
	[dheevyathi ithi dhEva: - one who revels or illumines or conquers shines praises plays]

	Om vaasu dhEvaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 334 occurring in slOkam 36
	Also naamaa no. 700 occurring in slOkam 74 
	Also naamaa no. 714 occurring in slOkam 76
	meaning: for 334 - who pervades the world and plays.
	For 700 - son of vasudhEva.
	For 714 - presiding diety of sri vasudhEva manthra.

	Om aadhi dhEvaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 336 occurring in slOkam 36
	Also naamaa no. 491 occurring in slOkam 52
	meaning: for 336 - the first diety, prime diety and cause for universe.
	For 491 - first cause, endowed with effulgence.

	Om mahaa dhEvaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 492 occurring in slOkam 52 
	meaning: the great diety- lord of dhEvaas - he the great player - sporting with all dhEvaas.

	Om kaama dhEvaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 657 occurring in slOkam 70
	meaning: lord of love- who grants all desires.

11.	Om raamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 396 occurring in slOkam 43
	Meaning: he who delights.

	Om vi raamaaya nama: -- naamaa no.397 occurring in slOkam 43
	Meaning: he before whom all become powerless. 

12.	Om veeraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 402 occurring in slOkam 43
	Also naamaa no. 664 occurring in slOkam 70
	Meaning:  who is terror to his enemies - full of valour - the valiant

	Om su veeraaya nama: -- naamaa no.944 occurring in slOkam 101
	meaning: he who possess great valour.

13.	Om BhuvE nama: -- naamaa no.438 occurring in slOkam 37
Meaning: the all supporter - earth.
Sri sankara considers this naamaa as Om aBhuvE nama: 
-	meaning - one who has no birth 
-	one having realised whom the seeker will have no rebirth.

Om Bhoo: bhuvE nama: -- naamaa no.942 occurring in slOkam 101
Meaning: the abode of all those who realised the supreme
The very substratum or support of the earth.

Om svayam BhuvE nama: -- naamaa no. 37 occurring in slOkam 5
Meaning: who manifests himself - self made.

14.	Om yajnaaya nama: -- naamaa no.446 occurring in slOkam 48
Also naamaa no. 971 occurring in slOkam 104
Meaning: for - 446 - the sacrifice
For 971- he who is himself the sacred yajna - the sacrifice.

Om sama yajnaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 360 occurring in slOkam 38
Meaning: One whose worship [yajna] is nothing more than keeping equal vision of the mind by the devotee.
-	the knower of conventions and time.

Om mahaa yajyaaya nama: -- naama no. 682 occurring in slokam 72 
meaning: he whose worship itself is the greatest yajna. 
[japa yajna is glorified by krishna as supreme and hence he is maha yajnaaya nama:]

15.	Om ijyaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 447 occurring in slOkam 48
	Meaning: the object of worship.

	Om mahaa ijyaaya: -- naamaa no. 448 occurring in slokam 48
	meaning: he who is the object of superior worship which is not sullied by desire for other fruits.

16.	Om krathavE nama: -- naamaa no. 449 occurring in slOkam 48
Meaning: the object of all types of sacrificial acts. 
A kind of yaaga with inherent violence in it.

Om mahaa krathavE nama: - naamaa no. 680 occurring in slokam 72 
meaning: the great sacrifice - one who is worshipped by easy means 
	not great sacrifices- the yajnaas.
