i thank whole heartedly mr.Sadagopan for this useful
information on Saligramam worship, i had lot of
queries on this, looks like all my queries are
answered.

One small query, 

as per the practice only the house head has to perform
saligramam worship, i don't have father and my
brothers don't have time and patience to do poojas,
can females of the house bascially kanyas do
saligramam worship, are we eligible to do it, please
answer to this query, i will be grateful.
