Namaskarams to all Bhagavothamas of this group!! Hari OM!
Drona when he was about 300 years old is said to have offered his Prayer to the Lrd thus:
"Anayasena maranam,Vina dhyityena Jeevanam
Dheyime Kripaya krishna Thwayi bhakthimasanchalam "
I learnt this sloka in childhood from an elder & I used to chant it often. But only recently I heard in a lecture by Dr.Srinivasan, a Sanskrit Scholar & Sri Vaishnava Scholar, that author of this Sloka is Sri Dronacharya.
Can amy one tell me the circumstances in which this Sloka emanated from Sri Dronacharya
