Sri: SrimatE Gopaladesika MahadesikAya Namaha, Translation by U.Ve. Dr. V.N. Vedanta Desikan Swamin: 492. janasya rangEshvarapAdhukE! thvam jAthAnukampA janayasyayathnAth AkrruShya dhUrAnmaNirashmijAlaIrananyalakshyANi vilOchanAni Oh Paaduka! By Your overflowing mercy, You draw the eyes of the lookers-on, casting Your nets of arrays of rays emitted by the gems on You, that too from quite a distance, thereby the people are made unable to look at anything else except You! Namo Narayana, SriMuralidhara Dasan Special Notes by V.Satakopan (V.S): Slokam 492: 1) UtthamUr Swamy's anubhavam: Oh Ranganatha PaadhukE ! with compassion, You seem to use the net made up of the assembly of lustrous rays from the gems on You to draw the eyes of people at a great distances and effortlessly make their eyes look at the Lord's feet and nothing else. 2) Srimath Andavan's anubhavam: Swamy NammAzhwAr has taken enormous effort to make it easy for chethanams to think about the Lord. The inner meaning here is that the person who is blessed to comprehend the true meanings of ThiruvAimozhi Paasurams through AchArya anugraham and upadEsam will always meditate on PerumAl and Swamy NammAzhwAr. 3) The gems on the Paadhukais create an assembly of bright rays (MaNi Rasmi jaalam ) that looks like a rope that pulls the eyes of the on-lookers ( Janasya vilOchanAni aakrushya ) effortlessly from a great distance (ayathnAth dhUrAth aakrushya ). Out of DayA , the PaadhukAs makes this happen and further makes those eyes rivetted to the Lord's dhivya mangaLa vigraham ( ayathnAth dhUrAth aakrushya , janasya vilOchanAni ananyalakshyANi janayasi)..
