Rama's worship of Navagrahams

Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama:
Dear All,

During last year in one of the posts we discussed the matter on Rama's worship
of
Linga and navagrahams in Rameshwaram and other places.

As correctly said by Sri.Anbil Ramaswamy, there is no mention of such worship in
Srimad Ramayanam .

In fact Rama was very anxious to leave Lanka to fulfill his promise made to
Bharata that he would return by 14 years.
He declines the offer made by a parama Bhagavata vibeeshana to stay for some
more time in Lanka.

How he could have found time to install a Lingam and worship.

Sri Puttur Krishnamachar had written a book tittled "Linga Prathistai"
":(Installation of Linga) where he clearly brings
 out truthfulness of all these claims made by other religions based on some
puranas which are not sattvic.

After Valmiki's Ramayanam and Kamban, there were many versions of ramayanam
like Ananda ramayanam , Ram charita manas etc where different incidents are
quoted.

Like we differentiate between sattva puranams and other puranams for
interpretation and quote, we should only rely on Sri valmiki Ramayanam on any
incidents.
