Dear bAgawathAs,
kaRpanai kavithaiyil kaNdu vanthEn
kArvizhiyai kaNgaLAl kANa vanthEn
kuthitthu nirainthana neer veezhcchigaL
kOlatthin niRamE koodum arangamE !
Simple Meaning:
adiyEn was seeing this immeasurable beauty of Sri Arangan so far
through my imagination, poems, and my own Athma anubavams. It was
now time for adiyEn to see HIS eyes or vizhi that is filled with
kAruNyam. The eyes are such (full of kAruNyam) as they always are
influenced by the mediatrix thAyar who is the kAruNya swaroopi.
Such eyes of Sri namperumAL is similar to those "mEgams" or
"kAr" or clouds. ("kAr vizhi" has two meanings; "kA"r as clouds
and "kAr" for "karuNai" or "kAruNyam" or "all merciful"). adiyEn
came to see those kAr vizhigaL in person on this auspicious day
of Sri nammAzwAr's ascendance to mOksham. On seeing this blissful
event there were many eyes that were acting a like rock earlier
now started to ooze water. Such water falls were jumping out of
the eyes as if it was coming between the piLavu or cracks of a
rock situated on top of the mountain. Those water falls were so
powerful that they were profusely pouring for very long and were
conveying the Athma sambandham with Sri namperumAL and sri
nammAzwAr. The "sillippu" or the chillness of that water falls
spread through the entire mEni and the "silirppu" or "mild tremor
that runs all around one's body due to this chillness" . Due to
such anubavam even "Athman" was shaken. The kOlam of SrinammAzwAr
with Sri namperumAL was one of the best every seen. Earlier it
was Sri namperumAL who carried the influence of thAyAr in HIS kAr
vizhi. Now it is Sri nammAzwAr whose entire thiru uruvam was
glittering gold as he happens to be at the holy of feet of Srinam
perumAL and doing vishEsha ArAdhanam. The "polivu" in the face of
Sri nammAzwAr was so wonderful when he joined with Sri Arangan.

Event Continued...
When we were all ready Sri bAlAji bhattar gave us a scintillating
speech that touched even those who cannot follow tamil very well.
He simply narrated the ascendance of Sri nammAzwAr to mOksham and
the significance, speciality of this event. It will take several
posts if that speech is to be written here. Even if adiyEn
attempts it may not match the original ex-tempore and flavor
at the time of delivery. Sri balaji bhattar didnot prepare for
two months or so. Neither he had the "cards" in his hands to
deliver this speech. He didnot fake his original knowledge or
anubavam merely. His expressions were simply outstanding. The air
was very thin. There was a suspence as if something big is going
to happen.
It is a tradition to carry Sri nammAzwAr in bare hands. But the
newly arrived divya mangala vigrahams may be more than 300 lbs to
carry. We mounted Sri nammAzwAr on the pallakku. The straight
path between Sri nammAzwAr and Sri namperumAL was coverd with
4 new "patthARu" or vEshti angavsatharam of each length 16 feet.
The total distance was around 75 feet. Two young Srivaishnava
boys were asked to carry the sAmaram. Sri Jagan and another
Sriviashnava in rotation carried the dhoopam on each side. Then
the signal was given to start the gOshti. ie., "aruLappAdu" was
issued to the gOshti to begin the soozh visumbum. The gOshti took
its position on both side of Sri nammAzwAr next to the sAmaram
and dhoopam. More than 40 lions roared this time "soozh visumbum".
As each and every line was rendererd in the highest possible
kOsham.
