Dear bAgawathAs,

After the sri vaikuNda ekAdasi day celebrations, the next 4   days
adiyEn spent a  lot of time thinking about our ubayam in Srirangam
on irAppathu ainthAm thirunAL  and my mind was constantly thinking
about where Sri namperumaL will be now and what they will be doing
now and so on. On 24th afternoon, the NAMA conference went on very
well. It was attended by approximately  about 175  bAgawathAs  all
across from USA. The number of bAgawathAs were as expected for the
day 1. The speakers may provide a write up of  their  speeches  as
similar to Sri V. Sadagopan (he had already provideed  a brilliant
heart pouring write up) so that those who could  not  make it  can
benefit as well. After Sri Venkat completed his speech, there were
some questions raised by some bAgawathAs on Srivaishnavam &  thiru
adhyayana sevai. As requested by Smt Nagu  the speaker Sri Venkat,
Sri Dileepan and adiyEn addressed a few of them. On the evening of
24th, it was already irAppatthu ArAm thiru nAL.

It is said that Sri AdivanSatakOpan was present  once  during  the
"irAp patthu"  ainthAm (ie the night  patthu  5th  night  ursavam)
thiru nAL. When Araiyars did abinava sEva of "poliga poliga" it is
said that due to Sri namperumAL's grace it occured divinely to him
that many Srivaishnava AchAryAs are going to be born in the future
in the lineage.  Sri Adi van  satakOpan  was  immensely pleased to
hear about the avathArams of great AchAryA purushAs. The next  day
on  ArAm  thirunAL he sent a whole lot  of "seer" from Sri Ahobila
mutt to felicitate Sri Ranagnatha for HIS divine  command  for the
future arrival of great Acharyas of Sri Sannithi. Ever since it is
a tradition that Sri Ahobila muth sends mariyAdhai  and  "seer" to
Sri Rangnatha on this day and Sri Ranganathar sends "bathil  seer"
or "ethir seer"  in  return  to  Sri Ahobila muth on top of temple
elephant.  A  few  of us sought permission of our AchARyA and did
bring Sri Adi vaN satakOpan from India. On  24th  evening  it  was
irAppatthu arAm thiru nAL,  we  paused  just after the pathigam of
"poliga poliga".

   Sri ADivansatakopan puRappadu was performed in a pallakku.  The
puRappaadu   started  with   loud classical  nAdaswaram  and  went
around the divya dampathis  with  gOshtis  leading in the front. 6
different sweets, kArams  made by a few shishyAs of muth, new silk
sarees for thAyar ubaya nAchhiyArs  and silk vasthram for perumAL,
fruits etc were all carried as "seer" by muth shishyALs led by Sri
Rajaji  and  Smt Vimala Rajaji. Then the procession toward perumal
was led by the gOshti. The gOshti ROARED the entire  hall  singing
"adivansatakopan adaikkala patthu" delivered  by our  31st jeer of
Sri Ahobila mutt.
