Srimadh Azhagiya Singar thiruvadikaLE charaNam Sri RanganAyikA samEtha Sri Rangarajan thiruvadikaLE charaNam Dear bAgawathAs, After the sri vaikuNda ekAdasi day celebrations, the next 4 days passed on with the gOshti chanting periya thiru mozhi both in the morning and the evening. Several people were arriving in Sri Venkat's house day by day from outstations. Some of them are, Sri Anbil came on 21st, and Sri KP parthasarathy and Sri Dileepan's family came on 22nd. Sri kannabiran joined us from Boston as well. It was on 22nd december 1999, that adiyEn *felt* during the morning session that someone was sitting and chanting the pasurams along with us in the holy seat where Sri Venkat used to sit with AchAryA thiruvadi on his head and do japam. Initially adiyEn thought it was Sri Venkat and so adiyEn was focussing on pAsurams and not looking there. When the session was over and when adiyEn looked there adiyEn saw no one, adiyEn later realised that it was not Sri Venkat as Sri Venkat was busy during that session on temple matters and never was there!. Later adiyEn recalled those clothing on that person and the color of the clothings was all found only with Sri Ranganatha and none else ! adiyEn whispered this anubavam to a select few. It is ardent Srivaishnava's belief that perumAL's divya mangaLa vigraham gets its sAnnitthiyam only when HE hears 4000 pasurams no matter when the prAna prathistA is done. That was one of the reason som of us from Sri Ahobila muth wanted to do this uthsavam for our pomona perumal for the first time this year. This is unique for Sri namperumAL only for making these special gestures. My heart and soul was overwhelmed with this unique anubavam. adiyEn had a similar soppana aunbavam with the chicago Lord last year when adiyEn participated in the gOshti. adiyEn had a "pullarikkum" and "mayir koocccheriyum" feeling whenever adiyEn rememberd that seat in pomona temple and the PERSON sitting there. It is a tradition that both in sARRu muRai and as well as in gOshti the first word will never be chanted. The belief is such that perumAL HIMself does it and begins it. ie., in tamil "perumALE edutthu tharuvathAga aitheegam". ie.. We start "siRu kALE" and not "siRRam siRu kALE". But it is unique only for Sri namperumAL to join the gOshti HIMself to show HIS sAnnitthiyam. The goshti was paused in 2 places where thirumangai delivers that he received the perumALs' thiruvadi. On the 23rd evening the peria thiru mozhi was completed and as well the two thAndagams. We were all set for the mOksha uthsavam through thiru vAy mozhi from 24th onwards. will continue .....
