May it be an auspicious dawn to Thee, O Lakshmii (the beloved of the Lord of
VR^iShaachala) of eyes like the lotus (petals), of a bright face like the
Moon, worshipped by the wives of Brahmaa, Shankara and Indra and a treasure
of compassion (4).
