We too are AzhwArs (we have immersed ourselves in samsaaric affliction) and we run after sensual, transitory pleasures and run amuck on materialistic pursuits. AzhwArs have immersed themselves deeply in the Bhagavth anubhavam, forgetting (rathar ignoring) all other vishayam.. Trust it answers your question.
