SATURDAY Feb 23: His Holiness Srirangam Srimath Andavan Sri
Rangaramanuja Mahadesikan's scintillating upanyasam two weeks back (on
02/10/2002) on Chatusloki, slokam 1 will be continued with Swami
Desikan's Bhashyam as the basis on this coming saturday 02/23/2002.
PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF THIS UPANYASAM TO SATURDAY !!! Srimath Andavan
gave a discourse on the Vibhuti Dvaya Seshitvam (leela vibhudhi & nithya
vibhuthi) of Lakshmi with generous quotes from Swami Desikan's bhashyam.
Srimath Andavan will be continuing on Sloka 1 dwelling more on the
doubts that may arise on this and Swami Desikan's bhashyam quelling all
doubts on the significance of "Sri". If you have the passcodes from
previous upanyasam you dont have to re-register. If you dont have the

Saranagathi in Srimath Ramayanam"  is now availably online at

dont miss this enlightening upanyasam on why Lord Rama's avatharam is
nothing but a display of the emperuman's Maha-Vratham to save the ones
who surrendered at His feet (Saranagatha Rakshanam).

SUNDAY Feb 24: Srimath periAndavan was the foremost among the illustrous
Acharyas of  both Srirangam Srimath Andavan periAshramam and Srimath
Poundarikapuram Andavan Asramam paramapara who was in Acharya peetam for
more than 50 years in 1800s. Monday Feb 25, is the thirunakshatram
(Maasi Pushyam) of this great Acharya. Sri. Ramanuja Mission is
delighted to announce that PadukA ArAdhanA and Srimath pEriAndavan's
thirunakshatram will be celebrated on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002 at Sri.
Raman Kannan's gruham in Holmdel, New Jersey between 09:30 AM and 12:30
PM. The directions and other details can be found here. We invite you to
come and participate on this important day and get His Paduka Theertham
and all the acharya's blessings.
