Priya Bhagawadbandhuvullara, Asmathsree Gurubhyo Namaha Srimannarayana Ramanuja Yathibhyo Namaha Srimathay Narayananayanamaha Srimathay Ramanujaya Namaha Jaishrimannarayana With reference to a posting on 'Why Sri Vishnavas should not go to other temples'; this question is similar to asking a married woman why she does'nt go to other men's houses. A married woman loves whole and sole her husband only. Anybody else at the most she just does'nt hate. Near and dear related to her husband or herself, she just gives respect. But her husband is everything for her. Only then, the relationship remains successful and long lasting. Similarly all Sri Vaishnavas are simply those who are wedded to Lord Laxmi Narayana who is also Lord Vishnu. Others immediately in line with Lord Vishnu like Nitya Sooris are also fully acknowledged for guiding us to Lord Vishnu. Any other Devatas (or Demi Gods who are all performing their duties) need not be prayed, but at the same time need not be hated. Only during certain Vedic functions due acknowledgements/respects are given accordingly to prime Demi gods. But whole and sole all the Sri Vaishnavites are totally wedded to Lord Vishnu through our Acharyas and Azhwars who inspire us for the same. Only then our relationship with Paramatma successfully lasts undiluted for ever --- Manasa/VAcha/Karmana Jai Sriman Narayana Sarva aparAdhamulatO Kilambi Ramakrishna Ramanuja Dasan -------------------------------------------------------------- - SrImate rAmAnujAya namaH - To Post a message, send it to: bhakti-list@yahoogroups.com Archives: http://ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/ Your use of Yahoo!
