Sri Ranganatha Temple is open for worship

Dear BhakthAs :

It is a great joy for me to forward this communique
conveying the happy news about the Sri RanganAthA Temple
of Pomona , NY receiving the Certificate of Occupancy 
from the local authorities as of February 14, 2001. 

After the dedicated work of many , many devotees 
and struggles against many odds , the Certificate of
Occupancy has been received and the temple can 
officially conduct the many functions to celebrate
the Dhivya Dampathis, AzhwArs and AchAryAs .

Please visit the temple and enjoy the dhivya soundharyam 
of the ArchA moorthis and participate in all the functions
to celebrate our illustrious Bhagavath RaamAnuja SampradhAyam.
Every one is welcome. 

I conclude this invitation to particpate in the nithya and
VisEsha uthsavams for the Lord of Srirangam at His temple
in New York with a prayer to His Paadhukais:

SruthInAm bhUshaNAnAm thE SankE RANGENDHRA PAADHUKE
MiTa: sangarsha sanjAtham raja: kimapi sinjitham
--Naadha Paddhathi slOkam of Sri PaadhukA sahasram: slOkam 1

(meaning): Oh Sri RanganAtha PaadhukE ! Inside Your 
toe-hold, there are different gems. As Your Lord adorns You 
during His sanchAram and moves about , those gems make a SunAdham . 
Those MangaLa Naadham reminds one of the jostling of the Vedams 
that are Your AabharaNams. 

The inner meaning is that the ThiruvAimozhi composed
by Swamy NammAzhwAr ( SatAri Soori) with the anugraham
of the Lord of Srirangam is the essence of Sakala 
VedArthams.

As Lord RanganAthA has His sanchaaram at the Pomona
Temple, may the admixture of the sacred sounds of 
Vedam and Dhivya prabhandham there remind us of 
the SunAdhams emanating from the Lord's Padhukais
(Guru paramparA starting from the dhivya Dampathis 
onwards through Swamy NammAzhwAr to prakrutham AchAryAs).
