Many thanks to Sri. Bharat and Sri. Sampathkumar for their responses to the question on kurattazhwan's age w.r.t. ramanujar. Sri. Bharat's research into the use of the term "azhwan" was also very enlightening. It seems then, that there is no doubt that kuresar was 10 years elder to ramanujar. Therefore, since ramanujar returned to Srirangam from the Mysore country at age 100, kuresar would have to be at least 110 years of age in order for their reunion to have occurred. We all believe that ramanujar lived to be 120 years of age, that he returned from the Mysore country at age 100, etc. Do we also believe that kurattazhwan lived to be 110+(?) years??
