In the ashtAkshara, I thought only the Pranavam is Veda Manthram. The rest of akshara can be recited by any varna. In Divya Prabandam, I see namo nArAyanA in Thirupallandu, also in "vAdinEn varunthinEn Manathal". dAsan. Govindarajan.
