Dear Members of the Bhakthi Group : During the last few days , I have received many public and private mailings encouraging me to continue the Kaimkaryam of posting information on the Bhagavadh Vishayam . The quality of the feedback has been so positive that it is clear to me that my decison to continue to share what little I know on the Kula Dhanams of our heritage is the right thing to do . I feel honored by your most sincere and true expression of affection and respect and thank you all for your welcome feedbacks . As a participant in the recently concluded sathsangam at Buffalo , I enjoyed listening to the moving and informative presentations by the talented and devout speakers . It became clear to me then that there can not be enough information of this kind available to all of us , unless each of us share whatever we know about Bhagavath Ramanuja Darsanam and "instruct " each other as stated by one of our AcharyAs: Parasparam Bodhayantha : I will approach my service to the Divya Dampathis in that mode and look forward to exchanges of information that will enrich our mind, clarify it and lay the tracks for additional journeys in the vast land of our sampradhayaam based on the PrasthAna Trayam and the TriveNi of Naalayira Divya Prabhandham , Paancharaathra and Vaikaanasa Agamams. The rich experience of participation in the Buffalo Sathsangam was a personally enriching experience for me for a number of reasons :(1) the opportunity to meet some of the talented and devout members from Buffalo, New York and from the other states as well as Canada (2) the opportunity to listen to thought-provoking presentations by the speakers (3) the opportunity to witness Dhanur Maasa AarAdhanams conducted in the most traditional manner (4) the opportunity to learn about the children performing a play on ThiruppANAzhwar's AmalanAdhipirAn, Thiruppavai as well as recitation of SudarsanAshtakam and its meaning ET AL . The sathsangam was a pioneering effort that was masterfully conceived and competently executed with the valued contributions of many volunteers , who gave geenrously their time and energies. The impact was unique and exhilarating . Srimans Anbil Ramaswamy , Vijayaraghavan Srinivasan , Sampath Rengarajan , Murali Ranaswamy . Bharadvaj Jaganathan, CidAmbi Sriram of our group backed up strongly by the highly motivated friends of Sriman Vijayaraghavan Srinivasan at Buffalo made this pioneering event a resounding success. Many new friendships were made and old friendships were strengthened during this memorable occasion . Participation at that meeting and the interactions there once again convinced me to continue my postings in the spirit of sharing of and learning about our rich inheritance. I take pleasure to wish all fellow members and their family a Healthy , Happy and Prosperous New Year . V.Sadagopan
