Dear sri vaishNava perunthagaiyeer,

In this post we will the Sree vishNu sahasra naamaavali having the common thread of the word "sam" meaning "with or together" usually used as a prefix to verb and verbal derivatives.

1.	Om sam Bhavaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 31 occurring in slOkam 3
	Meaning: - he who manifests himself.

2.	Om sam vathsaraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 92 occurring in slOkam 10
	also naamaa no. 423 occurring in slOkam 
	Meaning: for 92 - who is of the nature of the year - lord of time - he who lives.
	[sam vasathi ithi samvathsara:]
	meaning: for 423 - the year - the abode of all living creatures. 
	- he who remains duly prepared with weapons and waiting for the time of manifestation.
	[samyak vasanthi Bhoothaani yasmin ithi samvathsara:]

3.	Om sam mithaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 109 occurring in slOkam 12
Meaning: - he who has been rightly understood by his devotees. 
	one who takes up his own free will various incarnations for the glory of the world.

4.	Om sam grahaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 160 occurring in slOkam 17
Meaning: - he who is easily reached. 
	one who holds the entire world of beings and things together.

5.	Om  sam DhaathrE nama: -- naamaa no.203 occurring in slOkam 22
Meaning: - he who makes his devotees attached to him 
	giver of all fruits of actions - [karma phala dhaathaa eeswara:]

6.	Om sam DhimathE nama: -- naamaa no.204 occurring in slOkam 22
Meaning:  - one who is ever attached to his devotees.
-	lord supreme who is the law and the law giver.

7.	Om sam eeraNaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 225 occurring in slOkam 24
Meaning: he whose actions are delightful and pleasing.
-	one who is efficiently administering all movements of all creatures.

8.	Om sam vruthaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 232 occurring in slOkam 25
	Meaning: he who stands concealed.

9.	Om sam pramardhanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 233 occurring in slOkam 25
	Meaning: - remover of ignorance. 
	- One who persecutes men of sensuous evil minded [the raakshaasaaas] relentlessly.

10.	Om sam sthaanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 388 occurring in slOkam 42
	Meaning: he in whom every thing ultimately ends - the finality.

11.	Om sam eehanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 445 occurring in slOkam 47
	Meaning: - one whose desires are auspicious.
	- He who makes all work in their respective positions.
	[samyak eehatha ithi sameehana: - wishing well]

12.	Om sam karshaNaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 556 occurring in slOkam 59
	Meaning:he who draws unto him all the sentient as well as the nonsentient beings.
	[For sri sankara, this naamaa is combined with next naama Om achyuthaaya nama: and gives meaning of these two separate naamas of sankarshana and achyutha - who draws and who does not let down.

13.	Om sam nyaasa kruthE nama: -- naamaa no. 587 occurring in slOkam 62
	meaning: He who cuts as under the bonds when desires are renounced. 

14.	Om sam kshEpthrE nama: -- naamaa no. 605 occurring in slOkam 64
	Meaning: he who limits and obscures the glory and knowledge of those who are inclined to follow pravruththi dharma.

15.	Om sam nivaasaaya nama: -- naamaa no.711 occurring in slOkam 75
	Meaning: the abode of saintly persons. The abode of good people.

16.	Om sam aavarthanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 779 occurring in slOkam 83
Meaning: he who incarnates again and again
-	the efficient turner of the wheel of life. [ aavartha - to turn]

17.	Om sam thaaya nama: -- naamaa no.929 occurring in slOkam 99
Meaning:  - he who bestows properity 
- who is in the company of good and saintly men. 
[Verb here is thanOthi]
