Dear all, I dont know if my question is pertinent to the discussion here. but still, i wish to know what the Bhagvad Gita says about it. because i have always found answers from the members of this august discussion group. I had this experience today of giving bribe in a government office to get some work done. if i hadn't i wudnt have been able to get the work done. should we stick to DHARMA - righteousness and risk losing time, effort and money - in getting something done ? or get practical and get the job done by hook or crook ???? just because everyone else is doing it - should i too be part of the flock of sheep falling into the ditch ? i know it's almost inevitable in many cases - but is there any way - i can either console myself that what i am doing is right ... because afterall this is kaliyuga ... or do i say to myself that come what may - i should stick to righteousness - even if the entire world were to go corrupt ??? i'm at crossroads !! all those people who think that this query is too trivial can ignore it. but if anyone has any suggestions - please, i'm all ears to know what our scriptures have to say about it .... because for me it is a very big doubt !!! Mr. moderator - please let this pass .... sandeep -------------------------------------------------------------- - SrImate rAmAnujAya namaH - To Post a message, send it to: bhakti-list@yahoogroups.com Group Home: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bhakti-list Archives: http://ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/ Your use of Yahoo!
