Dear Pritesh,

In addition your fine write up, there is another
reason why the devas were asked to take the forms of
vanaras. The description which can be found in Uttara
Kanda as follows:-.

When Dasagriva (the original name of Ravana given by
Visrava) after taking possession of Puspaka vimana
from Kubera went to the kailasa to see Lord Siva. He
was obstructed by Nandi, the vahana of Lord Siva.
Dasagriva was enraged and when he got down from his
vimana, he saw Nandi face to face. He saw Nandi with
face of a vanara standing with a trident. Dasagriva
laughed when he looked at the feature Nandi. Nandi
angrily cursed Dasagriva, saying that in future
powerful vanaras will be born to destroy you.

As a result with Brahmadeva's instructions, Vayu deva
created Hanuman, Surya Bhagavan created Sugriva.
Brihaspati, the Jupiter created Tara, (a male
monkey-hero, but not the wife of Vali) Kubera's son is
Gandhamaadana while Vishvakarma, the Divine Architect
procreated Nala. Agni deva 's son is Neela, The twin
Ashwini procreated two monkeys namely Mainda and
Dvivida.

Varuna deva procreated Sushena, the monkey, and
Parjanya, the God of Thunderclouds created Sharabha.

Regards
Bala.
