Post 25 

Dear sri vaishNava perunthagaiyeer,

In this post we will see naamaas of sree Vishnu sahasra naamam having the common thread of  "the giver" or who "confers". Please read to know what all he gives.

1.	Om praaNa dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 66 occurring in slOkam 8
		Also naamaa no. 323 occurring in slOkam 35
		Also naamaa no. 409 occurring in slOkam 44
		Also naamaa no. 956 occurring in slOkam 102
		Meaning: for 66, 409 and 956 - the life giver for all souls. 
		For 323 - the life giver to dhEvaas in the koorma avathaaram- incarnation of koorma.
		One who gives praaNaa to all - also one who takes the praaNa.

2.	Om  sam DhaathrE nama: -- naamaa no.203 occurring in slOkam 22
		Meaning: he who makes his devotees attached to him - giver of all fruits of actions.

3.	Om su prasaa dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 238 occurring in slOkam 26
	meaning: the conferor of favours to his devotees -
-	full of supreme grace and thus becomes easily satisfied
-	ref - pathram phalam - geethaa 9-26

4.	Om sidhDhi dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 255 occurring in slOkam 27
		Meaning: bestower of sidhDhis 
		- giver of appropriate reward for all factors for those who do spiritual practices. 

5.	Om  vasu dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no.270 occurring in slOkam 29
		Meaning: the bestower of wealth - one who enriches all.

6.	Om kaama pra dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no.299 occurring in slOkam 32
		Meaning: the granter of desires - one who supplies the desired objects.

7.	Om vara dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no.332 occurring in slOkam 36
		Meaning: the granter or giver of boons.

8.	Om sthaana dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 389 occurring in slOkam 42
		Meaning: he who confers appropriate abodes to devotees - one who confers right abode.

9.	Om sukha dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 460 occurring in slOkam 49
		Meaning: he who confers happiness / bliss. Who confers bliss on deserving jeevaas.

10.	Om nandhanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 530 occurring in slOkam 56
		Meaning: the bliss giver.

11.	Om dhraviNa pra dhaaya nama: -- naamaa 575 occurring in slOkam 61
		meaning: he who confers wealth of scriptures and scriptural knowledge.
		One who lavishly gives wealth as asked by devotees.

12.	Om saanthi dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 594 occurring in slOkam 63
		Meaning: one who grants eternal peace to seekers who have firm devotion to him.
		One who gives inner peace and job to devotees.

13.	Om kumu dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 596 occurring in slOkam 63
		Also naamaa no. 813 occurring in slOkam 87
		Meaning: for 596 - he who rejoices and provide enjoyment.
		For 813 - he who remains ever delighted in the world.

14.	Om sree dhaaya nama: -- naamaa 612 occurring in slOkam 65
		meaning: he bestows glory to lakshmi herself 
		- one who gives sree wealth to all his sincere devotees. 

15.	Om vasu pra dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 698 occurring in slOkam 74
	Also naamaa no. 699 occurring in slOkam 74
	Meaning: for 698 - the free giver of wealth and salvation.
	for 699 - the free giver of salvation 
-	he who the treasure of his most valuable self. 
-	He who gave the supreme glory of beings parents of himself.

16.	Om dharpadhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 718 occurring in slokam 76 
		meaning: the giver of pride 

17.	Om sun dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 798 occurring in slOkam 85
		Meaning: one who showers great mercy on devotees - of great mercy.

18.	Om kun dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 815 occurring in slOkam 87
		Meaning: one who grants successive stages of higher knowledge. 
		He who gave the world to kasyapa rishi.

19.	Om sarva kaamadhaaya  nama: -- naamaa no.855 occurring in slOkam 91
		meaning: the bestower of all desires - one who fulfills all desires of all true devotees.

20.	Om svasthi dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 901 occurring in slOkam 96
		Meaning: one who gives svasthi- auspiciousness 
		- one who gives auspicious things to his devotees.

21.	Om santhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 929 occurring in slOkam 99
		Meaning: he who bestows prosperity. He who exists for devotees.

22.	Om anna dhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 984 occurring in slOkam 105
	Meaning: giver of enjoyment of himself. 
	Lord who enjoys those that enjoy him.

Let the "giver" give all wealth and properity to all in the season and the new year.
