To add to the list of Divya Desams in and around Chennai, one should add Thiruneermalai, on the southern fringe of Chennai and veering off the GST Road between Pallavaram and Chrompet (Right opp. Ponds' factory) and about 3 kms on that road.  

The Lord Neervanna Perumal offers darshan.  It is on the top of a small hillock which has a good flight of steps to reach the top and which offers a panoramic view of the now - city - now - village look of the surroundings.
